It doesn't happen often in Austin, TX. It is really and truly snowing!
Good thing I found some pink furry boots on sale last week. Right after this picture was take Ruby learned that Prickly Pears really are prickly, even if they are covered with snow.
We're going to snuggle up in front of the fire and enjoy this very rare weather.

Amazing! Truly it is! We had
Amazing! Truly it is! We had warm temps and rain and you guys get snow! Crazy weather, but I'm glad that Ruby go to experience snow...I know it's a rare "treat" there!
Happy snuggling by the fire. (Our fireplaces are wrapped with plastic for this winter, we're hoping that we'll have the O2 out of the house by next winter to be able to use them again, we truly miss the warmth and crackling of our wood burning fireplaces.)
Enjoy your winter weather! Ours is returning tonight...cooler temps with rain mixing to ice, which will ultimately leave us snow by the weekend.
